The Baroda/Lake Township Police serve Baroda and Lake Township and Baroda Village. The staff consists of Shawn Martin, Chief of Police, three full time and 13 part time officers, the receptionist and a bookkeeper. Shawn joined the department in 2001. Prior to coming to Lake Township he was in the tool and die industry for 13 years and on the Baroda Fire Department. Having a local police department helps keep response times for emergencies very good. The department makes about 2000 service calls a year. The dedication and experience of the staff help keep us safe and knowing we will be taken care of if the need arises. |
